      It's savory rice with little legumes in it. Possibly black eyed peas? I'm not sure. The only other time I had PR rice it had green olives in it too, which I REALLY liked!

    Country fried steaks and a baked mac and cheese. Think ground beef mix with bison and some pork with garlic powder, onion, powder, fresh cracked pepper, a small amount of liquid smoke, and a few select secret items. The mac and cheese uses a special blend of 7 cheeses, white wine, fresh pasta( never dried), and guanciale that is seared in cast iron and finely diced before adding the panko and baking it, it is finished beneath the broiler.

    Triple grilled cheese sandwiches and hearty tomato soup. Cheddar, Swiss, and Gouda with pan seared red peppers as one layer, and for the second we chose Velveeta, Fontina, and Havarti with small pieces of avocado, all in 3 slices of fresh made bread, the two outer slices slathered in Dukes mayo and slow cooked so that it all melts and makes something so tasty that eating it is a pleasure. The soup is made from scratch, not hard to make, just boil tomatoes, garlic, onion, and some chicken broth(I prefer bone broth), and run it through a blender before simmering and thickening, making the roux is the hardest part so you might have to look that one up. Then mix it together slowly and season with salt and sugar to taste and simmer more, then just serve and enjoy.
