Hello everyone.
Well, I’m going to try to start from the beginning because I had a lot of things to tell you, and as always, I end up forgetting something.
First, I was trying to create some animations in Daz, but for certain movements it is quite difficult for it to behave correctly. So I decided to use Blender for the animations, but when transferring the animations to Daz, the arms just wouldn’t import correctly. I lost about five days dealing with that issue, and then I discovered a Blender addon to transfer content from Daz to Blender, which I believe could notably increase the quality of both the environments and the animations. However, I obviously won’t do that for this game for two reasons: the first is that switching from Iray to Cycles could considerably change the look of the renders (I haven’t even tried it because I don’t have the time to test it), and the second is that the time it would take to transfer and prepare the assets in Blender would be too long—and neither you nor I want to wait that long for the next update. So, possibly after this game (which is still far off because the game has just begun its development) I’ll make a small game in Blender as a test.
In the end, I’m mixing Blender and Daz for the animations: I let them process while I go to work, and when I return, I work on the normal renders. I’ve been making progress on several scenes at once—one with Xena, another with Brumosa, and other renders with Layla at night. The scenes with Layla and Brumosa will only involve espionage; the update will focus on Xena and especially Isabel, as I mentioned earlier.
Several people have asked when the update will be released, and to my regret, I cannot give an exact date. These past weeks I have had too much work, but I am dedicating all my free time to the game to bring the next update as soon as possible. Besides, not all renders take the same amount of time—some take a very long time.
Surely there are still things left, but I’m a bit tired and I can’t remember if there’s anything else to say.
Anyway, as I’ve already mentioned, I spend all my free time working on the game, but I usually come home tired from work and only focus on doing renders.
Thank you for your support, and have a great week.
